Vergara assessing at FIFA U-17 World Cup 2015

After instructing match officials at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Hector Vergara (photo) recently returned to South America, this time in his home country, Chile. The former World Cup assistant referee, currently member of the FIFA Referees Committee, has been appointed as a FIFA Referee Assessor at 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup. During the group stage of the competition, Vergara is based in Chillan, where he already assessed referees Mehdi Charef (ALG) in Germany � Australia and Danny Makkelie (NED) in Argentina � Mexico.
